CPAP machines, masks and supplies in Kogarah

Try masks on in person, get your machine set up properly and know who to call if something isn't right. We supply CPAP equipment with fitting and support from our team.

[Brands stocked: to be confirmed by the clinic.] We can also help you choose replacement parts for the equipment you already have.

CPAP machines

Automatic (APAP) machines

These adjust the pressure through the night, within a range set for you, as your breathing needs change. They're commonly used when starting therapy.

Fixed-pressure CPAP machines

These deliver one set pressure all night, usually based on a sleep study or your doctor's advice.

Travel machines

Smaller, lighter machines for people who travel often. Some trade features such as built-in humidification for size, so ask us about the pros and cons.

Things worth comparing

  • built-in humidifier and heated tubing (helpful for a dry nose or mouth)
  • noise level
  • data recording and app or online access to your results
  • warranty and what happens if the machine needs repair

CPAP masks

The right mask matters more than almost anything else in CPAP. The best one is the one that's comfortable and seals well for you.

Nasal pillows

Small cushions that sit at the nostrils. Minimal contact, and good if you feel closed in by masks.

Nasal mask

Covers the nose. A good all-rounder for people who breathe through their nose.

Full face mask

Covers the nose and mouth. Often better if you breathe through your mouth or your nose is often blocked.

At a fitting, we'll help you try different styles and sizes while lying down, the way you sleep. [Mask exchange or trial policy to be confirmed.]

Replacement parts and accessories

  • mask cushions and nasal pillows
  • headgear, clips and chin straps
  • standard and heated tubing
  • filters and humidifier water tubs
  • mask liners, cleaning wipes and travel cases

Cushions and filters wear out with normal use. Follow the manufacturer's replacement schedule for your equipment, and replace parts sooner if they're damaged or no longer sealing.

Trial or hire before you buy

[Clinic to confirm CPAP trial or hire options, length and cost.]

Prices and rebates

Medicare doesn't cover CPAP equipment. Some private health extras policies pay a rebate, and some people may be eligible for government-funded equipment. See CPAP equipment costs. We'll give you a written quote before you buy. [Price ranges to be supplied.]

Always read the label and follow the instructions for use. CPAP therapy should be used as recommended by your doctor.

CPAP equipment FAQs

Do I need a prescription to buy a CPAP machine?

You should have a sleep study and a recommendation from your doctor before starting CPAP, so your therapy is set up correctly for you. If you haven't been tested yet, start with a home sleep test.

Can I try a mask before buying it?

Yes. Trying masks on in person is one of the main reasons to buy from a clinic. Book a fitting and we'll go through suitable options with you.

Can you service or repair my machine?

[Clinic to confirm.] Warranty repairs are usually handled through the supplier or manufacturer, and we can help you with the process.

Will my health fund give me a rebate?

It depends on your fund and level of cover. Check before you buy and ask what paperwork they need. We can provide an itemised receipt.
